52nd anniversary

gene tech workshop

so i attended this workshop yesterday. after all we're encouraged by our bio teacher to join. so this is the biotechnology lab..
we got chance to have experiment on PCR and electrophoresis.. so that we can know more about our A2 application chapter on gene technology.. i sacrificed my nap time for this.. and guess what? it's worth!! =)

preparing for the PCR reagent cocktail.. the volumes are measured in microL!! imagine how little the solutions prepared..the 'ingredients'. on neo's hand..last drop.. and done!

this is the main character of the day-- gel electrophoresis!injecting the DNA into the wells. function of electrophoresis-- to separate DNA fragments.. sure i'll score for this question during exam.. LOL

back to kuching high

actually planned to pay a visit to my secondary school-- kuching high school in the morning..

but then early in the morning, due to some reasons i couldn't make it.. i don't really mind about it at first, but in the afternoon, i suddenly feel like going.. as an ex highian, how can i miss out this back to khs event?!! okay.. i was a bit slow i admit, as my friends had visited in the morning and left.. kinda sad as i dont wanna go there myself..

about 2 pm, at first just wanna go yumcha with 2 friends, ah xian and jia wei.. but then xian said when he drives all the way to my house, he saw many people in kuching high.. so we cancelled the yumcha plan and headed to kuching high!!

i'm glad to see her again.. ^^ she's a great great english teacher !!she's the one who gave me confidence in speaking english, i appreciate what she has done to us..

she asked about the 08's 5S1.. i did not know how to answer as there's 40++ students.. i didn't know who should i talk about.. so i just reply her in 1 sentence.. " they're still alive.." anyway what i want to say here is she still care about us!! the 08's 5s1~~

1 more thing which surprises me.. i'm really OUT.. i didn't know that kuching high has changed the principal!!! only today i know Mr Thomas lau has left.. replaced by Mr ivor lim.. i even thought he was a woman when i heard the name Ivor.. lol.. *slap me*

三八公！

today.. such an unhappy day..
not because of the golf club thingy...
had fun wiv my friends there even we don't feel like going at 1st..
dave brought us there to discuss our LAN project.. what the...
why cant we just stay in the college to discuss?
noon time... very hot la!!! lol...
i din wear sunblock! later people say i look like bumiputera again how??
it was 10.50am after i had my brunch, received a call from Dave..
he told me that everyone is waiting for me and priscilla..
brian's at college.. to pick us up..
i was blur as i thought we were supposed to discuss our project in the college..
but anyway, i rush to college straight away..

when i reached there, i can see no one familiar other than the safety guards..
then i called up brian and ask him where is he, he said he was at puchong edi..
my 1st thought was they left without me!! i shouted at brian and he said he'll be in college to pick me up soon.
i was very angry as i have to wait under the sun alone in front of school..
then i phoned pris.. and knew that she was at asia cafe, with misty.. waiting for brian as well.

so, i know the whole thing. brian was just on his way to college from his 'happy garden'.
and i thought they left me in the college alone is all because of DAVE.. he lied to me!!!
but never mind, it's not the worst incident for the day. at least i got to travel shah alam with them.. not bad..

everything's fine until evening. i went subway for the sub-of-the-day--chicken teriyaki.
my favourite!!! so catherine n i went there for dinner.
2 of us were enjoying our 美味又可口的面包. suddenly, we saw 3 guys walked in..
they sat beside us and one of them joined our table. i was like okay.. since we know each other..
we were chatting and everything was fine in the beginning until i realised the guy beside me keep on saying things that made me ' beh song!'
so so so PB guy!!! he was like showing off that he has good relationship with a lecturer.
so what? like i care?? i don't even know who is she okay?!

说了一大堆奇怪的烂道理，说什么饮食里吃的肉类越多，人就长得越不好看。
我知道你总是吃素，是因为你长得太丑了想吃斋弥补吗？你吃了这么久的斋，怎么不见你变好看？
最过分的是他还说我脱发！真够衰！我头发还比你多，比你长叻！！

前几天一直为了怎么向妈妈交带成绩而烦恼。
担心她会对我感到失望，痛骂我一顿。
所以都没有向她坦白成绩。
只有等待.. 等待学院把考试成绩寄到我家再打算..
我有预感成绩会在今天寄来，今天过后的日子应该不好过,
所以约了朋友们出去k 歌,逛街。
享受最后的快乐时光..
晚上回家后，我观察妈的脸色，发现没有很'黑'..
心想也许还没收到成绩吧。
可是朋友们的都收到了啊! 我开始担心是不是我的成绩太烂，学院不寄来我家，还是要见家长什么的。
都是班上一些无良的人害的，因为许多人上星期就收到信了，就跟我说什么学院可能会开除成绩不好的学生，吓到我半死！！！
那个叫 '蓝医生' 的人！ 开学你就知道死！！
趁晚上妈的心情看起来不错时，我便假装轻松的问她有没有收到任何由学院寄来的物件..
结果出乎意料的事发生了。
她把信拿了出来，原来她已经看过我的成绩了！
我很怕她骂我，就静静的依然假装是第一次看到自己的分数。
这时她跟我说，其实不想这么快让我知道成绩的，不想影响我的心情。
天啊！她不但没有责备我，反而还替我着想。好感动也好内疚！！
她从来没有那么善良过...... 以前考试考不好，她一定是很生气，然后冷战或是跟我大吵一顿。
也不知今天怎么这么好死..^^
很感动啦！让我觉得更加对不起她。
妈妈，我不敢保证下次成绩会不会进步，但我一定会更加努力，不荒废学业！

all about her

she's my chemistry lecturer, ms prem..

she's leaving.. to do some research in some parts of the world..

she's no longer our chemistry lecturer.. *sobs.*

well, she a nice lady, she cares for us.

in the morning especially on monday,

where we have our chemistry lesson at 8am.
usually, pm19-ians were in bad mood. we are so quiet in the class, sitting down there listening to her keep-on-repeating chemistry.
then she'll say ' class.. why you all look so sad? because today's monday? '

one more thing she likes to say a lot.. that's ' so scary la pm19, everytime i ask a question and i have to answer myself..' lol

i will never forget the way she call my name, 'BONG CHIEN YING!!!'

she's the only lecturer who remember my full name, i guess..

my biology lecturer call me 'bong chien chien, o just bong!' aiks..

my physics lecturer call me ms bong..

the others, i doubt they know my name.. ??

whatever.. lol

well, i used to take my breakfast or some snacks in her chemistry class..

once she sees me eating,

she'll probably say.. ' bong chien ying ar.. eating again huh? gain weight you know?'

even when i was with a bottle of soya milk, still she said, ' it has got high sugar content ar bong chien ying..'

my usual response was either ' this is my breakfast, i haven't got time to take my breakfast until now..'

or ' hungry la teacher... i need chemical energy for chemistry lesson..'

also, she always caught me day dreaming or sleeping in class. and that's why she threatened me by wanting to report all this to my parents!

another thing,i can never forget once in the chemistry lab..

she just knew that i'm from sarawak from some people, brian i guess.. ( he is the one who always say something bad about me in front of ms prem, he even tel ms prem i bully him!! geram la!!!)

she was so surprised,

' bong chien ying, you from sarawak ar? oh my god.. i met so many sarawakians like angel.'

' yeah.. i know i'm an angel..=)'

' i said i met, not i'm meeting.. hahaha' LOL
i'm going to miss those times..

since she's leaving, pm19s held a farewell party for her, same day as our celebration for the coming christmas.

she came along with packets of chocolate..

the first thing she said was..' bong chien ying.. where's bong chien ying??'

once she spotted me in the crowd, she said ' don't finish all ya..' followed by a sweet smile..

OMG.. i think my impression for her is i love food..

well, everyone love food what.. haha..

she's really a nice person..

i like her even though she was slow in teaching, and ended up rushing to complete the syllabus,

by giving extra classes..

i like her even though she always put us aeroplane during chemistry class..

( we taught her the meaning of put aeroplane before.. ^^)

i hope our new chemistry lecturer would be as fun as her..

hours ago..
when i was stil in lcct kl..
the place were damn crowded...
and guess what happened,
my luggages.. overweight!!!
5 kgs man! gonna cost me 75 bucks wei!!!!!
scary...
then we quickly unpack my things..
took out some heavy things n insert into my backpack, even my laptop bag.. for hand carry.
LOL..
but it only reduced my luggage about 3 kg..
stil 2 kg more to be reduced!!
luckily the pepole in charge just let me pass... without any charges..
thank god..



but then i realised another terrible thing..
i lost my wallet!!!
my ic.. i need it to check in!
i was panicked by the time..
i thought i couldn't come back to kuching with my friends...
i thought i couldn't see my family anymore...

finally, i found my wallet..
it wasn't lost..
it's just that i accidentally left it in my check in-luggage..
sorry for troubling u guys... =p




and then the plane was delayed for some time,
but still, i had a safe flight to kuching international airport..
hahaha... kuching!!! i miss ya!!!!!!

rabbit farm visit

finally it's over!!

yesterday.. we sat for our last semester paper..

i've been waitin for this day since the 1st day of semester exam..

i'm free frm books now!!! ^^

we visited a rabbit farm, under the supervision of our biology lecturer.

it was the 1st time for most of us to try the rabbit's meat.. it taste just like chicken actually.. lol

IMU visit

we visited international medical university this afternoon..
it was fun..
the only bad thing is that the lecturer who gave us a talk was bored..
the more she say.. the more sleepy we are..

hahaha... share some pictures i took in IMU here..

1 more thing i dislike about the university is that i can hardly see students hanging around there. the whole place was like 'cold cold green green'.. quite scary.. =/

finally we went back to college in the evening..planned 2 study physics at 1st.. but then ended up havin dinner for almost 2 hours wiv frens... lol... then we use the remainin time to take pictures. but never mind la.. since my frens are leaving soon, i cherish every moment we spend together!!! love u all!!!

终于有时间更新我的部落格了.. deepavali 过后真是忙透了.. 连续考了三张考卷( physics, chemistry, n maths) 惨!! physics 只是勉强及格罢了。=(
i dont know the result of the other 2 subjects yet.. i hope that my chemistry can get 70% and above.. if not i'm going to die soon.. my stupid chemistry lecturer said that she's going to inform my parents if my result drop this time..
TT.. what to do? she always caught me day dreaming and sleep in class.. sob.. i was just too tired and tried to hav a rest during chemistry class..

well, i think my buddies should know that i like detective conan..

as much as i love doraemon.. lol..

that's the main reason for me to watch this movie over and over again..

however the second reason is, the main character is damn handsome!!!
